All Sporting, Hound, Toy, Non-Sporting Breeds and Junior Showmanship Competition  will be Judged on Saturday

All Working, Terrier, Herding Breeds, Miscellaneous and Best in Show will be Judged on Sunday

The 2021 event will showcase the top canine athletes and will also include popular attractions such as the Best Bred-by-Exhibitor competition, the AKC National Owner-Handled Series Finals, the AKC Royal Canin National All-Breed Puppy and Junior Stakes and the NADD/AKC Dock Diving. The show will once again take place alongside the AKC Agility Invitational and AKC Obedience Classic, with junior events in each sport.

COVID-19 Protocol Update
AKC will require Face Masks covering your nose and mouth to be worn indoors at all times, regardless of vaccination status, except when actively eating or drinking. You must be stationary when eating or drinking.
If you will be at the Orange County Convention Center for any AKC Events or Activities during AKC’s Event Week, December 12 through 20, 2021, you agree to comply with all of AKC’s COVID-19 Safety Protocols.
Waiver & COVID-19 Self-Declaration forms will be required to be completed and turned in the first time you enter the facility.
AKC may require additional health safety protocols at the time of the Event Week. All information is subject to change at the discretion of the American Kennel Club.
AKC will follow the COVID-19 guidance of the CDC.

Judge Changes for AKC National Championship

OFFICIAL NOTICE: Substitution of Judges.
Reference Chapter 7, Section 8 of AKC Rules: Owner has the right to withdraw his entry and have his entry fee refunded provided notification of his withdrawal is received no later than one half-hour prior to the start of any regular conformation judging.

Mr. Juan Miranda will judge Beaucerons, Finnish Lapphunds, Norwegian Buhunds, Pulik, Pumik, Shetland Sheepdogs and Spanish Water Dogs in place of Mr. Robert Stein.

Mr. Joseph E. Gregory will judge Cockers (Spaniels) Black, Cockers (Spaniels) ASCOB, Cockers (Spaniels) Parti-Color and Wirehaired Vizslas in place of Ms. Pluis Davern and will judge Bullmastiff Veteran Classes and Cane Corso Veteran Classes in place of Mr. William P. Shelton.
