“What a wonderful adventure for me and Virgil to get to play our favorite game in the prestigious Agility Invitational,” said Rachel. They train in her back yard and are “gritty not pretty,” she added. “To receive recognition as a top-five All American team is a dream come true. Virgil is a talented athlete with great love for the sport and a whopping stride to match. He wears his emotions on his sleeve as he loudly barks his way through the obstacles. This gentle giant has been known to win the hearts of spectators, and he certainly has mine.”

Virgil has come a long way from an ailing pup in a shelter to Rachel’s once-in-a-lifetime agility partner. This is his first Agility Invitational; he has also participated in two National Agility Championships.
