The American Kennel Club is proud to offer a Junior Showmanship Scholarship Pprogram. The criteria for awarding the scholarships includes the following:
1) applicant's need;Each applicant is required to submit current school transcripts, as well as an essay including a description of his or her experiences and interests in purebred dogs, including an explanation of how the individual perceives his or her future role in the fancy.
2) applicant's academic achievement; and
3) applicant's involvement in the fancy.
